finally! i got the goods. the hollywood 1990 DAT tape.
isnt this the way it always is? the best performances
are captured by an audience recording and the soundboard
tapes are dry and lifeless? well, this one is a draw.
right. perfect digital reproduction of a mix that is bass
and guitar shy. vocals and drums up front. with some
smancy EQ, i think this tape can be pretty good though.
this is a long show with a killer _caroline wheeler_.
_sister death_ is in there, _angels_ too.
anyone interested in copies?
joel! its looking like your FM capture of the 1989 KCRW interview
is our only source - martin has some other KCRW stuff, but
not that one. too bad, there is lots of good material there.
