No. Although years ago when I almost first joined this mailing list, someone posted a comment to the effect that the next amaldovar film had 'she's on drugs' in the soundtrack. which of course it didn't. but this film is from the same era and makes me wonder if this is the film that was actually referred to.

It doesn't sound very good:

Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me’ (R)

                             By Rita Kempley
                             Washington Post Staff Writer
                             September 17, 1993

"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" is a crude and unimaginative parody of drive-in movie fare from Joel Hershman, an arrogant and annoying recent film school grad who tells us, "I thought I could make a movie just as tasteless, vulgar and tacky as Hollywood but for a lot less money." Fine, Joel, just don't ask the rest of the world to fork over six bucks for your statement.
