12 Bar Club

Hi,

First post, from Prince Edward Island in Canada. Just found the web site this week, concert in London sounded like a great excuse for my first vacation in two years and first trip back to England in six. Used to live not far from Tottenham Court road on Candover Street in the mid eighties...didn't hear any JBC till later, though. A sit down set in a small bar sounds just about perfect to me. Can any British list members advise on other significant cultural events happening Sep 8 - 14 (though they will of course pale by comparision)? Anyone want to run the projector for me at my cinema while I'm gone?
