What the Papers Said

Sumosonic 'In Brief' review from Select (March 1998)

WHO THEY ARE
Northampton eight-piece coming on like a Pop Will Eat Itself for the new millenium.

WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE
A mixture of Saturday-morning TV theme tune, French film soundtracks, techno, reggae and low-rent singing.

DOES IT WORK
There are better ways to pass the time, perhaps, but there is an element of potential here.

Marks: 2/5 [contextual note: not bad, for an In Brief review.] Received on Wed Apr 22 17:56:56 1998
