i would underwrite an emergency and collaborative venture in a moment, but something deep within questions the good motives of the greater jbc-list

terms have to be drawn up sharpish, and probably involve pat - ugly thought this is. I'd say something like $100 for pristine DV or VHS, $5 for .rm and if we overshoot the budget then we divvy it up in t-shirts or equivalent.

so someone who does this sort of thing for a living has contacted me and "offered" to do a 3-camera DV of the JBC LA show. he wants a buttload of money for the gig - around $1400.

this will only happen if some of the richer among us steps up to pick up the bill.
