which reminds me, and dates me. some time in 1986 or thereabouts there was a strip in Viz, scatalogical UK cartoon mag, where the lead character (I think it was "Roger Irrelevant") wore a t-shirt proclaiming that Peter Lorre was/is a brick.

the artist was D. Jones. I've never made a certain connection, but would be interested if anyone knows anything -- i'd like to be able to sleep at nights again.
