The Jazz Butcher Conspiracy

[album cover]

Waiting For The Love Bus (Creation Records/Tristar 57563)

Jazz Butcher has always struggled with its identity, particularly in the U.S., whereas rave press and U.K.-generated hype has done little to move Yank alt-rock listeners.

Of course, band leader Pat Fish has no interest in being known as spokesman to the so-called alternative generation, preferring to see his slightly warped, mostly beautiful visions of turmoil-driven life as nothing more than great pop music. And he's got a point. Only openminded listeners need board this bus.
